For best results select a day of moderate temperature, ideally between 65°F and 85°F (18°C–29°C). High temperatures will dry the paint too fast and may cause bubbling and poor adhesion, while low temperatures can have the opposite effect.
Low humidity is also important. Humidity too high Paint becomes streaky, cloudy or becomes uneven in finish. And you’ll want that humidity to be below 50% if at all possible, so your skin is nice and uniform.
Wind conditions matter as well. Light breezes are all right, but strong winds may blow dust, leaves or other matter at the wet paint and cause overspray. Fortunately, if you pick a calm, dry day with moderate temperatures, you can achieve superior coverage and a pro finish on outdoor projects.
